Saanich Police are warning residents who use Bow Park in the Braefoot area to be aware a bear has been spotted in the park. It was seen at the small pond about 9 pm last night.
Patrol units were unable to locate the bruin, and the BC Conservation Service has been notified.
Police say area residents, people with small children, and those who play in and visit the park should be aware the animal could still be around.
