Fewer runs on routes that serve schoolsuniversities, and more for popular summer destinations
BC Transit is implementing some changes to service for ther summer as of today.
Transit's senior planner, Lindsay Taylor, says there will be fewer runs on the routes that serve schools and universities. But those will ramp up again in the fall.
At the same time popular summer routes, like Butchart's Gardens, are seeing increased service:
" Beside that we have some increased service on some more summer destinations, so as you mentioned, Butchart Gardens, Thetis Lake and also better connections to the ferry."
