Saanich Police ask residents to remain alert following another black bear sighting.
The time an nimal was getting into garbage cans in the 2300-block of Queenswood Drive.
Police are also reminding residents to ensure garbage cans are secured -- Failure to do so may result in a fine.
If you encounter the animal, remain calm, back away slowly, and contact BC Conservation Service - or local police if needed.
