A woman is under arrest, and Oak Bay Police are seeking a warrant for the arrest of a man, following an apparent Break and Enter overnight at the Lawn Bowling Club.
Police were called to the club at Carnarvon Park just after 11:00 pm after an alert resident noticed someone inside looking around with a flashlight.
When police arrived on scene minutes later they found a male and female leaving the area on foot. They matched the description provided by the caller.
The woman was arrested and found to be in possession of break & enter tools, drugs, and drug paraphernalia. The man fled with cash and an i-pad.
But Deputy Chief Ray Bernoties says the suspect is well known to them.
Police are requesting approval on a number of charges -- including break and enter, theft, and possession of break in instruments.
