Saturday will mark 10 years since the tragic loss of West Shore RCMP officer Sarah Beckett.
The detachment is planning to hold a moment of silence tomorrow (Thursday) in remembrance of the 32-year-old mother of two young boys who was killed while on duty on April 5, 2016.
Her police cruiser was broad-sided by a drunk driver in Langford.

Cst. Beckett is remembered as someone who was always willing to help others. Her loves in life were her young sons, Lucas and Emmitt, and her husband Brad.
The annual Sarah Beckett Memorial Run is scheduled for Mothers Day, Sunday, May 10 at Starlight Stadium.
