Ron Cheffins :: Talk
Ron, or as he is more formally known, The Honourable Ronald I. Cheffins QC, is one of the best and most experienced political commentators in the country.
Ron has law degrees from UBC and Yale, was called to the BC Bar in 1955, taught Law at McGill University in Montreal for eight years, and has taught at the University of Victoria since 1965, with time out to serve as a judge of the BC Court of Appeal from 1985 to 1987.
He is a recognized authority on the Canadian Constitution, and has authored two definitive books as well as numerous journal articles on the subject.
Professor Cheffins' ability to explain complex issues in a way that everyone can understand has made him a sought-after media commentator.
