Murray Langdon :: Talk
CFAX 1070's News Director also hosts his own show, weekdays from 10:00am to noon.
Murray started his career in broadcasting in Calgary after graduating from Mount Royal College. In 1995, Murray moved west and began his "west coast" career at C-FAX 1070 in 1995.
Following stints at a number of radio stations, Murray landed in television and tackled a number of positions, hosting and producing newscasts.
After ten years, Murray followed his dream and started to tackle more complex issues via print media.
But when an opportunity came up at C-FAX, he didn't hesitate to return to the station and host his own show.
"It's the perfect kind of show. We talk about anything and everything. We can take the time to look at an issue in depth, and truly analyze it. But we can also look at the 'not so serious stuff', everyday news we all talk about. Basically, you name it we can discuss it. That's what C-FAX is all about; everything is on the table."
Murray took over the reins of the newsroom in October and is committed in leading the newsroom into its 50th year of broadcasting.
