THERE'S A LONG LIST OF PEOPLE THROUGHOUT THE CRD THAT ARE WORKING ON A PLAN TO PURCHASE TWO PIECES OF LAND PUT UP FOR SALE BY WESTERN FOREST PRODUCTS.
M-L-A FOR JUAN DE FUCA JOHN HORGAN SAYS WHEN THE WFP LANDS BECAME AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE CRD, A LOT OF PEOPLE CAME TOGETHER TO TRY AND FIX THE PROBLEMS THAT RICH COLEMAN CREATED THREE YEARS AGO.
"and so far we're on the right track, i'm very hopeful that i've corresponded with the minister responsible, i've got calls in to the deputy minister, there's a lot of activity behind the scenes right now at the CRD and at the provincial level as well as the first nations and the developers."
HORGAN SAYS THE PUBLIC NEEDS TO CONTINUE TO SHOW THE GOVERNMENT HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO PROTECT SANDCUT BEACH AND THE JORDAN RIVER SURFING BEACH.
