The city of Langford will be installing a giant lake aerator Sunday with the hardware arriving by Kamov helicopter sometime between 8 and 10am.
The new five-ton aerator will replace the old one which was removed last month from the lake. Divers have installed four large concrete blocks to anchor the new piece of machinery.
The public is being asked to stay off the lake during the installation.
The project cost about $260,000, with funding from the Province, the Habitat Conservation Trust Foundation, the City of Langford, Bear Mountain Land Corp. and other organizations
