A 58-year-old Victoria man has been arrested in connection with a long weekend bank robbery at the Douglas Street RBC.
A suspect was arrested around 8:30 p.m. Monday night inside the Subway Restaurant at 456 Gorge Road East. He was arrested without incident and police managed to recover some evidence from the bank robbery.
The bank robbery happened on Saturday just after 3 p.m. when a man entered the RBC and demanded money from the teller. He fled on foot, but police were able to obtain a detailed description that helped in making an arrest.
