The BC Coroners Service has identified a man who died at a logging site northwest of Port Alice last week as a Sooke resident.
38-year old Toby Lee Childs was felling trees on an uphill slope on September 13th when the incident occurred. Co-workers found him within minutes, but Childs was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Coroners Service and WorkSafe BC continue to investigate the specifics of the death.
