Victoria's top mixed martial artist -- and one of the top pound-for-pound women fighters around -- Sarah Kaufman is preparing for the biggest bout of her career tomorrow night.
Kaufman, who trains primarily out of Zugec Martial Arts in Vic West, is headlining a Strikeforce card against the woman many consider to be the best female fighter in the world: Ronda Rousey. Kaufman -- a 15-1 former Strikeforce champion -- is currently in the process of cutting down to make the 135-pound limit for tonight's weigh-ins.
Saturday night on PPV, she'll attempt to uncrown Rousey, the undefeated champion and a former Olympic bronze medallist in judo.
