Rookie QB shines again for Seahawks

August 19, 2012 08:36 from

It's just two weeks into the preseason, but the Seattle Seahawks may have a quarterback controversy on their hands.

Free-agent acquisition Matt Flynn completed just 6 of 13 passes for 31 yards during Saturday's 30-10 win in Denver. Another free-agent signing -- receiver Terrell Owens -- contributed to Flynn's subpar numbers by dropping a nicely thrown touchdown pass in the first half. T-O was targeted five times in his Seattle debut, but finished without a catch.

Rookie QB Russell Wilson impressed for the second straight week. The Seahawks third-round draft pick completed 10 of his 17 passes for 155 yards, and two touchdowns. Wilson added another 33 yards on the ground.
