Victoria's 150th anniversary commemorative art project unveiled yesterday looks to me like a success.  Something that City Hall got right. 

The phrase "Victoria and First People's Day" does not roll of the tongue particularly easily.  Is that a reason not to change the name of the holiday that Canadians mark late in May every year? 

Every once in a while you run into an example of bureaucracy run amok, and you don't know whether to laugh or cry.
